How Our Platform Was Founded - (A Story of a 19 Year Old College Student)
College Contact will provide a predetermined number of 1:1 virtual near-peer advising sessions with trained undergraduate mentors. High school students will be matched to undergraduate mentors that are relatable and fit their demographic and school interests. We have 3 different pilot options available for school districts/organizations. The lowest cost option would be for 10 students at 30 total hours running 2-3 months. We recommend starting pilot programs in the Spring of a student's junior year, and then re-upping the program in Senior Year Fall for a larger class.
The program will be hosted on secure and recorded Google Meet links, and will be structured via our proprietary curriculum hosted on Canvas. SRCS students will be matched with their college mentors prior to the program’s start date (the first meeting hour).
Length of Pilot: 2-3 Months

2. 4-5 customized career and major pathways mapped out
3. An interest-aligning academic course pl
