Dr. Chelsea Hackett is an educator, researcher, and interdisciplinary artist, passionate about empowering everyoneʼs voice to be heard. In this exploration youʼll learn about the mechanics of your voice, how to take care of your voice and how to support vocal empowerment for both yourself and your students.


Chelsea Hackett PhD

Chelsea Hackett PhD, is the co-founder and Executive Director of SPEAK, a non-profit that focuses on youth Vocal Empowerment. In addition, she is an interdisciplinary artist, researcher, and creative consultant. Dr. Hackett was a professional development coach and teaching artist in New York City, working in schools across all five boroughs. She created and taught workshops on literacy and anti-bullying, and trained teachers to integrate art into special needs education, and as a tool for emerging English speakers.
